What was good?
I think that the overall production of the final castle is very good. Having done my research i had a clear idea of what i wanted to produce. I have a lot of interest in ancient rome and i wanted to base my idea around a caslte that could be placed in that time era.
What could improve?
I think that my time management could have been better. I had some problems with my UV unwrapping because i did my walls together and not separately. This lead to problems textureing and unwrapping for uv maps.
Conclusion
I think that i used lighting well to create dynamic textures and produced a interesting scene. by using bump maps and opacity maps i think that the textures stand out really well. I also like the way that i created the terrain with photoshop. It gives the whole scene a real untouched feel. These ideas and processes together, make the overall look pretty good.

Developing My Castle
Here i was adding the texture to the corner tower. I also put a bump map on it so that it really makes the texture stand out.
this is the path that i created leading to my castle. I used an opacity map along with a bump map to get the desired effect for blending the road into the terrain.

Here is the render of the wall textures aswell using bump maps and a global light and a spot light with an orange colour to get a sunset effect.
Here is one ground texture i was working with but i didnt like it.
Then after some more experimentaion i got the desired effect by using a more sandy texture with a bump map.
